Full metal Alchemist. One of the greatest Anime's I've ever seen. If you ask me the things that make a show great is one in which you watch the characters grow. And thats just what FMA is all about. The story line is awesome. Not because of the actions, or twist, but because of the way the characters are forced to interact and grow. Ed and Al are constantly being challenged in their beliefs and perceptions of the world. Sometimes this is obvious. --When Al thought his memories were fake and desperatly trying to find the truth of his past. Meanwhile he meats another boy who is desperatly trying to forget his past. Sometimes not so obivous. Such as how the entrie first part of the series - which include a crash course to their world or alchemy - talks about equivilent exchange. To get something, you have to give something of equel valve. Yet Ed and Al assist a women give birth. This is the first step of their growth, learning about life and their world. Unless you've recently seen the series all the way through that might not make much sense.
I just finished watching episode 25 of Full Metal Alchemist. And I must say, even though its the third time I've seen it, it still breaks my heart. I feel kinda of silly saying that, but not for this show. This series isn't afriad to tackle challenging things, or force you to face and see hard emotions. The funeral scene is mostly what I'm talking about. And the following scene, where Roy Mustang says "Its starting to rain."
I love this anime.
If you haven't seen it before, it worth taking a look. I don't know how available the english translation is, but the eng-sub versions are free and easily available online. Although low quality you could try www.juztube.com if you are interested. Be warned though, when you pick FMA from their list, you might have to close our their homepage to watch the shows. Sometimes because of all the junk they have their my player freezes up. Also its streaming so no dial-up!
The results are enjoyable... Here it Goes!
I don't really know how to tell you this, but our romance is over. I think I realized it
the first of may, outside of Chicago, and I saw you carve your initials into the crazy monk. I'm sure you're frostbitten enough to understand that I'm open. I'm returning your ring, but I'll keep your photo as a memory. You should also know that I never liked eggplant-fatishim.
Good luck on your short-term leave from jail,
Please contact me in some way before you add so that I know to be expecting it.
